About the championship

The European Shaolin Open Championship is an annual Kung-Fu and Tai-Chi competition in Europe, taking place this year on 14 November in Frankfurt am Main. Our goal is to give Kung-Fu and Tai-Chi practitioners from across Europe a place to come together, compete and exchange — across schools, styles and borders. Every year, a champion is crowned in each age class. It is as much about skill and ambition as about respect, discipline and community — the values Shaolin stands for. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced master: everyone is welcome to become part of this growing European community.
