Everyone can take part

Whether you have only just begun or have been training for years – this is your chance to challenge yourself, show your skills and, together with the athletes of your school or club, present your strength. This is a competition with an international character, open to Kung Fu and Tai Chi practitioners from across Europe and around the world. It will be a day full of energy, discipline, respect and community – exactly what Shaolin stands for!

Categories & disciplines

The competition is structured into the areas Kung-Fu and Tai-Chi and categories such as bare-hand form, short and long weapon, partner form (Duilian) or animal style and show form. Athletes may enter as many categories as they like – with one form per category. You will find all age classes, forms and scoring rules on the rules page.

Registration & payment

Registration is done online via this website. So the organization can plan in good time, please register early – the sooner, the better.

After the registration deadline, each school receives an invoice for all registered participants. The payment term is stated on the invoice. Participants for whom no payment has been received cannot start. Payment on site is not possible. Up to the registration deadline, registration is free of charge and can be changed or cancelled at any time at no cost. After that, the costs apply for all registered persons and cannot be refunded.

Program

The detailed program with the start times is finalised after the registration deadline and will be announced in good time before the competition in the participant area of the website.

Accommodation

The easiest way to find nearby hotels is via portals such as Booking.com. Eschborn, which borders Frankfurt directly, is a good option, as are the nearby Frankfurt districts of Höchst, Sossenheim, Zeilsheim and Sindlingen. And if you would like to spend the evening in Frankfurt, there are of course plenty of hotels in the city centre as well.
